Pathfinder Society 2nd Edition Specials, Glyphs, and Table Requirements

An updated list was released to the venture-officer corps on May 12th. As part of the update, RVC approval is no longer required to schedule recent multi-table interactive specials, and no multi-table interactives must be run at conventions.

Our last public bulk update from Tonya was from April 29th, 2019, but as of this writing, it is out of date. This list is obviously not the authoritative source; check with campaign leadership to confirm the current Special rules.

Specials for Other Systems

Specials with Glyph Requirements

As of this writing (May 2021), we don’t have any single-table specials: there are no scenarios that require a certain number of glyphs to run.

Multi-Table Interactive Specials

These scenarios may be run anywhere if they meet the listed table minimum, are playing the scenario simultaneously, and are in contact with each other. Previously, some multi-table interactives needed to be run at conventions; this requirement has been removed for these games as of May 12th 2021.

Also as of May 12th, 2021, RVC approval is no longer required to schedule a multi-table interactive. It is still considered best practice to communicate with your RVC when scheduling, however.

For now, all Pathfinder Society 2nd Edition multi-table interactives require three or more tables, and the intermediate tiers count as separate scenarios for purposes of replayability.

  • #2-00 The King in Thorns (for levels 1-8)
    • Treat tiers (level ranges) 1-2, 3-6, and 7-8 as separate scenarios for purposes of replayability
  • #3-99 (for levels 1-8)
    • This scenario is still under development and is embargoed until September 20th, 2021.
