The GASP leadership sent out some information on their 2023 plans:
Hello GASP Gamers,
I wanted to drop an update on what we have planned for 2023. GASP is going strong, and although we did struggle this year with attendance, it’s been solid and slowing building back up. We had a price increase in 2022, but many of you stayed the course and it really helped to keep the club going – Thank You!!
For 2023, we are reducing the prices some. See below for the details, and we are bringing back Family pricing. Hopefully this updated pricing structure will appeal to most everyone, and continue to boost our attendance moving forward.
As a reminder, here are the date for 2023.

Pricing
Hey all, I wanted to pass along for great news. With the steady attendance we’ve seen at Games Day we are going to lower the prices for 2023. More than likely this pricing structure will be what we use moving forward.
2023 prices will are as follows:
Pay as you go, each Games Day
- Single, pay as you go – $10
- Family, pay as you go – $15 (Immediate family only)
Pay for the year
- Single, per year – $60
- Family, per year – $110 (Immediate family only)
All those that pay for the year will be considered GASP Knights. There is no longer a separate $20 fee for this. We want to recognize all those that continue to support us in this way. Our margins were too slim in 2022 to do much for our Knights, but we will have some recognition in 2023. Once thing we are doing, in December we will have a gaming raffle for all our 2022 Knights. We’ll have a nice selection of new and gently used games to raffle off, and every Knight will walk away with something. Must be present to participate.
Please note: For yearly payments, we will accept them through January’s Games Day (so December 2022 or January 2023). After January, all members not on a yearly payment program will pay as you go each month. If you can’t make either December’s or January’s Games Day, you can always pay via PayPal. Please e-mail me, with your yearly payment preference, for an invoice.
For yearly payments, we will accept cash or credit cards at the December and January Games Days. Also, yearly payees will receive a special badge to wear each Games Day, instead of a wrist band. This badge will be yours to take home each month, and will be your responsibility to bring to each Games Day.
Note: Family is your immediate family, e.g. husband/wife/domestic partner, your/his/her kids.
Speaking of kids, all children 12 and under, that are capable of playing the types of games we typically play (say 6 years old), are free to attend Games Day with a paying adult. The Adult must stay at Games Day with the child, but not necessarily play the same games. Please use your discretion when bringing your children to Games Day. We want to encourage families to play games together, but this is not a 100% child-proof event. Adult language/humor may be used by some attendees, most likely not at the same game your child is playing, but within ear-shot. Please be respective of other gamers, and ask if it’s OK for your child to play a particular game with them – don’t expect the answer to always be yes.
Gamer Flea Market
And finally, I want to announce that GASP is bringing back the annual Gamer Flea Market, on Saturday January 28th. Tables are $25 each, but if you reserve by January 7th, you’ll get $5 off. Also, our 2022 Knights get an additional $5 off. From now until Nov 13 we are only taking pre-registrations from any 2022 GASP Knights (Those people that paid for a yearly membership in 2022). This is a little Thank You for stepping up to keep GASP going during a tough time. After Nov 13, registrations will be opened to the general public on a first-come basis. We have 29 tables available in total, so there should be space after the GASP Knights pre-reg ends.
The location will be the same place we hold our Games Days, the Baldwin Community United Methodist Church. Attendance to the general public is free, and the doors open at noon and run until 4pm. After 4pm, stick around and enjoy open gaming until 10pm (also free) – it’s like a shortened bonus Games Day! To help make the flea market successful, we’re hoping you will attend, and help spread the word by sharing the link to the event on Facebook. A flyer will be posted on our website as well as the Facebook group.
