Pathfinders!
May is in our rear-view mirror and July is coming up quickly. One of the big changes is that we only get one new PFS scenario for July, and it’s a seeker tier–a way to help wrap up the story for long-time players. Accordingly, across from the stirring conclusion to the Faithless and Forgotten trilogy, we’re also scheduling Passing the Torch, Part 1: Who Wears the Mask for levels 12-18 at GASP in the morning.
Not to be outdone, the afternoon slot will have our second multi-table special at GASP! For Version D of The Solstice Scar, the PFS leadership listened to concerns and has made some changes to the flow of the special in order to make it a little less frenetic and less repetitive. Instead of three sections, Version D will only have two sections, with significantly less replay. The special can be played by any character between levels 1 and 11 even if you’ve played versions A, B, or C, and should be a lot of fun! If you want to GM, sign up early.
Free RPG Day is Saturday, June 15th! There are lots of local stores participating, including several of our favorites. Locally, Phantom of the Attic in Oakland and Games Unlimited in Squirrel Hill are registered retailers. Stop by one or both on the 15th and support our local stores! One of Paizo’s contributions is Skitter Crash, a follow-up module to the acclaimed Skitter Shot! If you weren’t able to snag a copy yourself, you’ll get a chance to play it at Phantom of the Attic in Greentree in July.
Finally, it’s worth noting that Victory Pointe will be happening as part of our July schedule, but for scheduling reasons we’ve had to move it to August 4th. Don’t worry, there will be another game day in August as part of that months’ schedule! This month’s edition has one of the classic evergreens and the continuation of All for Immortality.
Please keep in mind that we are continuing both Victory Pointe and Phantom of the Attic games starting at 1:00 PM —Victory Pointe because seeker content runs long, and Phantom to see how we take to an earlier schedule.
