COSCON 2021 is this March, from the 19th to the 21st
It’s time to start thinking about COSCON!
This year’s COSCON is entirely online and will run from March 19th to the 21st, and we hope to see you there! We’ll need help from all of you to make this convention a reality.
Early GM Signups
Starting now and ending Monday, January 25th, at 11:00 PM Eastern, you all have early access to the GM signups.
We’ve locked down the Warhorn sessions: you can’t sign up there until Tuesday, unless the session has a GM. (There’re a few that are open.) Today, though, you can see a copy of our scheduling spreadsheet. If there’s a game you’d like to run and it doesn’t have a name next to it, edit the event listing and add your name next to “GM”. Sound easy?
This link will only be editable today. Once we open up the Warhorn sessions to everyone on Monday night, you’ll need to sign up there.
Please don’t overwrite someone else’s name! This is sort of first-come, first-served, but if we have a lot of demand we can always schedule sessions in parallel. We do, in fact, expect to do some of that with the Starfinder special!
More GM Info
- We do have Roll20 games/tables built for some of these, and the GM lending library has others.
- The Circle of Swords has opted to keep their original schedule, so we’ll want to keep things running quickly. We only have 4-hour slots, with an hour in-between.
- If people are playing the same character for two sessions in a row, they’ll need to know how much money/fame/etc. they have earned, so let them know at the end of the game –in case you don’t get the chronicle sheets out before the start of the next slot!
Headquarters
We’ll need volunteers to help run HQ this convention, just like we have in past conventions. If you’d rather not GM but still want to contribute to the community, this is a great way to do it. If you’re interested, please get in touch!
More to Come
We’re working on getting a webpage for the convention set up. That’ll have all this information and more.
Don’t forget: we need GMs to help make this convention happen, so if you’re up for it, don’t forget to sign up!
